Skirbeck Lodge is a large communal building, offering everyone we support their own bedroom, ensuite and private lounge. Equipped with a domestic kitchen filled with multiple hobs and ovens, a laundry room, spacious dining and living area and a beautiful garden at the back of the home.


CCTV 

CCTV is operational in all communal areas. This provides an additional layer of safety and peace of mind to all parties who live, work, commission and visit the service. 


Transport 

Skirbeck Lodge is on the fringe of the town centre therefore local services are readily accessible on foot. The bus stop is within a minutes’ walk, with immediate links to Alford, Spilsby, Louth, Skegness, Mablethorpe and Grimsby. For those who are unable to access public transport or where distance is too great the home has a pool car which is available for shared use at no additional cost.

    Kitchen  


    The domestic kitchen consists of a number of ovens, hobs and dishwashers. This allows the people being supported to be as independent as possible in making meals for themselves, with differing levels of staff support.


    Each person has a cupboard that they are able to lock themselves. Giving them peace of mind that things that they have purchased are stored securely within the kitchen.

    Bedrooms  


    Each bedroom has ensuite facilities, to ensure maximum privacy, consisting of a shower, toilet and wash bason.


    All bedrooms have a small divan double bed, with under bed storage. Bedrooms are decorated as 'blank canvases' to allow for personalisation to occur during the transition process.


    Individual call points are available in each bedroom, providing the reassurance that people can seek help when required.
