National Apprenticeships Week 2026

Since the opening of Pickworths Residential Living, we have proudly fostered a learning culture that supports growth and development. This group of learners have achieved something truly worth celebrating. Balancing study with the demands of real, hands‑on work in a care environment is no small feat, yet each apprentice has shown determination, pride, and a genuine passion for supporting our residents.

Our team have completed a range of Level 2 and Level 3 Health & Social Care qualifications, demonstrating impressive talent and ambition across the organisation. From Passes to Distinctions, their results reflect hard work, perseverance, and a deep commitment to exceptional care. Whether starting out at Level 2 or progressing through Level 3, each apprentice has grown in confidence, expanded their knowledge, and taken on greater responsibilities. Their journey hasn’t just been about gaining a qualification, it’s been about developing new skills, strengthening their professional identity, and becoming an integral part of the Pickworths family.

Since opening Pickworth House in June 2022, we have proudly supported 15 apprentices in completing a diverse range of qualifications. Within our care team, this includes four colleagues who completed Adult Care Worker Level 2, three who achieved Lead Adult Care Worker Level 2, four who progressed to Level 3, and one who successfully completed the Leader in Adult Care Level 5.

Our office team and directors have also celebrated significant achievements, completing apprenticeships such as AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting, Business Administration Level 3, HR Support Level 3, Operational or Departmental Manager Level 5, and two Senior Leader Level 7 qualifications.

These achievements reflect not only individual effort but also the supportive culture at Pickworths, where learning is encouraged, potential is recognised, and everyone is given the space to grow.

We’re incredibly proud of what they’ve accomplished and even more excited to see where their careers take them next. Their success is a reminder that talent thrives in environments where people feel supported, encouraged, and trusted. We’re truly honoured to have been part of their journey.

Here’s to their hard work, their bright futures, and the positive impact they continue to make every day.

Here are the apprentices who have successfully completed a variety of courses during their employment at Pickworths Residential Living.

We’re proud to have supported a mix of both care-facing and office-based colleagues through apprenticeships tailored to their roles and designed to strengthen their

ongoing career development.

In addition to those who have already achieved their qualifications, we currently have 20 team members progressing through apprenticeships. These include Adult Care Worker Level 2, Lead Adult Care Worker Levels 2 and 3, and Leader in Adult Care Level 5.
